ISU: Fencing and Grazing Clinic
August 11
The popular Fencing and Grazing Clinic will return on Aug. 11 in Marion. Beef producers are invited to the hands-on clinic, which addresses one of the biggest challenges in implementing any grazing system: infrastructure.
Program schedule
- 8:30 a.m. – Welcome
- 9 a.m. – Breakout sessions: New Tools in Fencing/Building Your Paddocks
- Noon – Lunch grilled by the Linn County Cattlemen
- 12:30 p.m. – Grazing Leases and Fence Law
- 1:15 p.m. – The options: Virtual Fencing
- 2:30 p.m. – Paddock system in action
- 4 p.m. – Adjourn
There is a $20 registration fee to participate. Those interested are asked to register online or by calling 319-377-9839 by Aug. 4.
